The Winter White Dwarf Hamster Phodopus sungorus has a greyish, white brown coat of fur. Pippin is around 2 years old and the lifespan of a hamster in captivity is around 2-3 years old. Pippin lives in a hamster cage and it gets cranky when the house is removed from the enclosure. It is small and cute, but does not seem to like interruptions and noise.
