The Winter White Dwarf Hamster Phodopus sungorus has a greyish, white brown coat of fur. Pippin is around 2 years old and the lifespan of a hamster in captivity is around 2-3 years old. Pippin lives in a hamster cage and it gets cranky when the house is removed from the enclosure. It is small and cute, but does not seem to like interruptions and noise. It eats broccoli and other vegetables.
